SHERATON WALL CENTRE HOTEL FLAGSHIP
STARBUCKS
When Starbucks partners with well known hotel brands such as Sheraton in high visibility areas, special attention is paid to the demographic served from the perspective of both the international guests attracted by Sheraton Hotels but also the new iconic architectural developments such as Burrard Place and The Butterfly Building under development directly adjacent to the store occurring during the design of this store.
Unique attention was paid to the geometry of the space to act as a beacon that would both attract customers and blend in with the luxury developments to come.
To align with the Starbucks values of offering handcrafted beverages, one of a kind art pieces such as interpreting the iconic siren logo in hand strung nail and heavy duty twine art by a local BC artist while wall finishes reflected tactile textures such as concrete imprinted with maps of coffee growing origins and durable, stain resistant wool wallcoverings.
